STEM Club
STEM Club is an auxiliary initiative under Meet The Girl Cameroon, created in 2024 at GBHS Bafoussam.
While Meet The Girl Cameroon focuses primarily on empowering girls, STEM Club expands the vision by including boys and creating a collaborative learning environment where both genders explore opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The club was established to nurture innovation, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills among secondary school students.
To create an inclusive STEM ecosystem where boys and girls collaborate, innovate, and develop the skills needed to thrive in a technology-driven world.
To provide practical STEM training, mentorship, innovation challenges, and real-world exposure to students at GBHS Bafoussam and beyond.
Hands-on, practical, and collaborative learning experiences
Students learn foundational programming skills, web development basics, and logical thinking.
Practical mini-projects that teach design thinking, teamwork, and innovation.
Leadership training, peer collaboration, and exposure to STEM role models and professionals.
